This course allows you to take your current FR certification and, with this additional training, upgrade and receive the EMR certification. EMR is 80+ hours of training and this course allows you to count the 40+ hours you have already completed in FR towards that 80 hour total. We strongly suggest you do this FR to EMR upgrade within a year of completion of your FR certification. Ultimately, you must provide documentation that you have a current, unexpired FR certification to do this course.
I am a former Paramedic and put on one of the most thorough and fun First Responder courses. I provide Canadian Red Cross certification which is WSIB and nationally recognized. You also get access to online e-learning workbooks. Your certification includes the Canadian Red Cross First Responder certificate with CPR-BLS with AED and Oxygen administration certification.
The cost is $599(all applicable taxes included so that is your all-in price). There is an option to purchase and keep a blood pressure cuff and stethoscope for $99 used $139 new, otherwise, loaner equipment will be provided.
